[SAN ANGELO, TX]—The Austin-based law firm of Hay Compere PLLC is pleased to announce its expansion into West Central Texas with the opening of its fourth office located at 136 W. Twohig in downtown San Angelo. Hay Compere has strong ties to San Angelo and the Concho Valley, with founding partner John A. Hay III and partner W. Derek Darby hailing from the city, in addition to Firm employees Beth Coffey, Director of Business Development, and Rich Coffey, the Executive Director of Finance.

With its newest expansion, Hay Compere welcomes partner Wesley M. Giesecke to the Firm. Mr. Giesecke will manage the San Angelo office and brings extensive experience in the areas of Energy, Oil and Gas and Real Estate to Hay Compere. Wes recognizes the needs and concerns of all parties involved in developing successful energy projects, from landowners and families to investors, landmen, and operators. He has a strong background in title work, and renders title opinions focused on his clients’ specific needs in counties all over Texas. He also drafts and negotiates the necessary leases, agreements, assignments, conveyance documents and related instruments crucial to the acquisition and development of each prospective tract or field. Furthermore, Wes is available to assist clients with general business matters and real estate interests.

Originally from Austin, Wes is proud to call San Angelo home, where he lives with his wife Marissa and children Samuel and Carmen.
