[SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, TX]— The Austin-based law firm of Hay Compere PLLC is pleased to announce its expansion into South Texas with the opening of its office on South Padre Island. One of the fastest-growing law firms in Austin, Hay Compere continues its growth by acquiring the Law Office of Cynthia A. Jezek, PLLC, which will operate under the Hay Compere name in its current location at 104 W. Bahama, Suite D, South Padre Island, Texas.

With its newest expansion, Hay Compere welcomes two new members to the team: Cynthia A. Jezek, who joins the firm as a partner, and legal assistant Shannon Jurek.

Ms. Jezek practiced in Austin for seven years before moving to South Padre Island in 2010. She has vast experience in the areas of real estate, business, family, estate planning, wills and probate law. An active member of the Island community, Cynthia has served as an Islanders’ Committee member with the South Padre Island Chamber of Commerce, Steering Committee Member for the Leadership Laguna Madre program, and as a volunteer for South Padre Island’s Bike Fest through the SPI Community Foundation, Sand Castle Days, and the Shrimp Fest in Port Isabel.

A legal assistant for over thirty years, Ms. Jurek gained valuable experience as the legal assistant for long-time South Padre Island attorney Jeffrey E. Church who retired from the practice of law in 2010. She is known throughout the Island community for her knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail she gives to every client she assists.
