Big Hearts Brave Hearts is an organization of young professionals in the Austin area who support Camp Brave heart. The camp is a free, two-and-a-half-day experience designed to combine the fun of a recreational camp with grief support for children ages 6 through 17 who have experienced the lost of a loved one due to death. Through activities and trust exercises led by counselors, the campers explore emotional, behavioral and physical adjustments in their loss. St. Jude’s is a nationally recognized organization that helps children fight cancer and supports families coping with the reality of having a sick child. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to fight blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
